Modern Pop in Cape Elizabeth

Purchased as a turnkey coastal getaway, this newly-built Cape Elizabeth home provided Huffard House with a blank slate. The clients’ contemporary taste, appreciation for custom details and love of color made for an exciting project with specialty textiles. The modern light fixture by Artemide in the sitting room was the first piece specified for the home and set the playful and modern tone throughout. Although there are bold pops of color throughout the house, the overriding goal was to make the home feel balanced, interesting, and inviting. To this end, Huffard House utilized quality upholstery fabrics, neutral wall tones, and natural wood finishes.
