Our client’s purchased this recently renovated home just as their last of three children was nearing the end of high school. Virtually no furniture or accessories made the move from the traditional home they had raised their family in. They were ready for a clean start in this more contemporary, “grown-up” space. Our role on this project was to define and soften the big open living spaces - providing furniture plans, specifying furniture, rugs, and window treatments while incorporating a few of their most treasured pieces. Architecturally, the house is unusual for the New England coastline. It’s a single story home with three sides wrapping around a pool and patio. The design lends itself to a lot of windows and abundant natural light. The finished product shows off custom rugs, clean, comfortable upholstery, fantastic accent fabrics, and case goods with natural finishes and textures.
